  • Acceptance of Terms: By engaging Ashwa Law Associates, clients agree to comply with all terms and conditions stated herein.
  • Client Confidentiality: All information shared with Ashwa Law Associates will be kept strictly confidential, except as required by law or with the client’s written consent.
  • Legal Representation Scope: The scope of legal services will be clearly outlined in the initial agreement and limited to the specific matter or case discussed.
  • Fee Structure: Legal fees are billed according to the fee structure discussed and agreed upon before commencing representation. This may include hourly rates, fixed fees, or contingency fees depending on the case.
  • Billing and Payments: Invoices are generated periodically, and clients are expected to settle payments within 30 days of receiving the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Retainer Agreements: A retainer may be required before services commence. Retainers are held in trust and applied to billed services, with any remaining balance refundable at the conclusion of representation.
  • Termination of Services: Either party may terminate the legal representation at any time, with reasonable notice, provided outstanding fees for services rendered are settled in full.
  • Client Cooperation: Clients must provide timely, accurate, and complete information and documents necessary for the effective handling of their legal matters.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of the legal representation will be addressed through mediation before considering litigation, to resolve issues amicably.
  • Communication Protocols: Clients agree to maintain regular and responsive communication with Ashwa Law Associates and keep the firm informed of any significant developments in their case.
  • No Guarantee of Outcome: Ashwa Law Associates will provide its best efforts to handle client matters, but cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results in any case.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Ashwa Law Associates conducts checks for conflicts of interest before taking on a new client and will decline or withdraw from representation if a conflict is discovered.
  • Intellectual Property: Any legal advice, documents, or work products provided by Ashwa Law Associates remain the intellectual property of the firm until all outstanding fees are paid.
  • Legal Advice: Legal advice provided is based on the facts and circumstances specific to each case. General inquiries or consultation should not be considered binding legal advice unless a formal engagement agreement is signed.
  • Changes to Terms: Ashwa Law Associates reserves the right to update these terms of service at any time, with notice provided to clients.
